I do believe organizations using continuous improvement cycles tend to have more quality, and a defined process for what they do. These organizations are committed to excellence. I am sure your blog goes in to more detail and we could brainstorm this for hours. This leads in to my next question, if you do not have a continuous improvement cycle can you have effective or high performing teams?</description>

		<description>It is somewhat ironic that I posted a blog post on a very similar subject today. I have found the most effective performance teams is in companies that have a continuous improvement program in place.

From my blog post: Continuous improvement companies understand that not everything is right to begin with, it is just the beginning. They realize market conditions, new information that is uncovered, external and internal conditions will all affect the process of implementation. They are not looking for perfection. They know that is will come in time. These types of companies are very adaptable and seek to improve the process in small loops or in mini-PDCA cycles. 

I downloaded the paper this morning and thought it was a very nice read.</description>
